Roxanna Massoudi-Harwood is a 32-year old contemporary abstract artist whose work captures the raw essence of emotion through fluid movement and layered textures. For Roxanna, painting is her portal to presence - a way to step beyond thought into a raw, immersive flow state where pure presence awaits. Each brushstroke moves through time and space, untethered from analysis, rooted only in the now. With every breath, she translates energy into form, using charcoal, ink, watercolor, and mixed media to create deeply expressive abstract pieces. She invites the viewers to feel rather than simply observe.
Beyond her artistic practice, Roxanna is a sound therapist, certified in Biofield Tuning, fascinated by the profound effects of sound on the body and emotions. She explores the intersection of vibration, movement, and visual expression, bringing a holistic approach to creativity and as a lifelong mover, she is a dancer, former collegiate triathlete and is now learning to channel her voice through singing and writing.
Roxanna and her husband of 7 years own a successful motel in Greybull, WY where they raise their 5 year old son and share their home with their two black cats named Black Kitty and Gizmo. Nestled in the Big Horn Basin, Wheels Motel is located just outside the East entrance to Yellowstone National Park.
Her work is collected by those who seek more than just visual beauty- it is for those who crave an experience, an emotional resonance that lingers beyond the canvas.
